This article will cover the rights you have under GDPR as a subject of the personal data we hold about you.

iSpaniel as a Data Processor

Where personal data is held about you in our systems you have all of the rights available to you under GDPR, however, any request to exercise those rights must be submitted via the Data Controller whom we act on behalf of.  The Data Controller can then process your request via our systems, or pass the request onto iSpaniel so we can process this on their behalf.  We CANNOT process any request directly from the data subject.

Right of Access

Under Article 15 of the GDPR, you have the right of access, commonly referred to as subject access, which gives you the right to obtain a copy of your personal data that we hold.

Right to Rectification

Under Article 16 of the GDPR you have the right to have inaccurate personal data rectified. 

Right to Erasure

Under Article 17 of the GDPR you have the right to have your personal data erased. This is also known as the ‘right to be forgotten’.

Right to Restrict Processing

Article 18 of the GDPR gives you the right to restrict the processing of your personal data in certain circumstances. This means that an you can limit the way iSpaniel uses your data. This is an alternative to requesting the erasure of your personal data.

Right to Data Portability

Article 20 of the GDPR provides the right to data portability which gives you the right to receive your personal data in a structured, commonly used and machine readable format. iSpaniel will fulfil any requests under this right, where technically feasible.

Right to Object

Article 21 of the GDPR gives you the right to object to the processing of your personal data. This effectively allows you to ask iSpaniel to stop processing their personal data.
